Original Music From 'Halloween' Soundtrack Posted Online
September 13, 2007Rob Zombie has proved that he is not only a heavy metal god, but also a horror film master. His remake of the 1978 classic "Halloween" murdered the box office record for a Labor Day release with $31 million. Zombie not only brought the classic horror franchise back to life, but also used his musical talents to make a killer soundtrack to accompany the release. The "Halloween" soundtrack features classic hits from the '70s, like ALICE COOPER's "Only Women Bleed" and BLUE ÖYSTER CULT's "(Don't Fear) The Reaper". In addition to the sinister arena rock from the '70s, Rob also had some original music created for the film.
Check out the eerie stalker score of "The Shape Stalks Laurie" (audio) by Tyler Bates ("300", "Slither", "The Devil's Rejects") and the haunting remake of "Mr. Sandman" (audio) by Nan Vernon.
